Yudonna Inez Foster, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 4th from a short battle of stomach cancer.
Yudonna was born on October 2nd, 1956 to John A Poole and Erma Hudson in Montevallo, AL. After graduating top of her class as Valedictorian from Montevallo High School in 1973, she went on to study Speech and Language Pathology at University of Montevallo.
After graduating college, she relocated to Kansas City, Missouri and began her career as a Speech and Language Pathologist for the Kansas City Public School District.
Later, she met and married Ronell M Foster Sr, going on to have two children together, Sheree and Shelaine.
After retiring, Yudonna spent time with family, shopping, fishing, visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, gardening, interior decorating, assisting with party decorating, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, and spoiling her grandchildren as much as possible.
Yudonna is predeceased by her parents, John A Poole and Erma Hudson and her sisters, Dr Vonna Knight and Freda Carson. She is survived by her husband, Ronell M Foster Sr; her sister, Laura Johnston; her two daughters, Sheree (Foster) Aidoo and Shelaine (Foster) Compton; and her grandchildren, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 24th at Greater Corinthian Church of Christ 4800 East 27th St. KCMO 64127. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Due to COVID-19 masks are required. Services provided by Lawrence A Jones & Sons Funeral Chapels.
