Wilma Mae Banks was born May 24,1925 to Lawrence and Emma Hamilton in Argentine, Kansas. Graduate of Northeast Jr. and Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas.

CHURCH:  Joined the Second Baptist Church in the 1930’s under the pastor of Rev. G.W. Barnes.  A Certificate of Recognition of 50 Year Membership was presented by Pastor Rev. Roy A. Reed in March, 1988.  I served as General Chairman of Missionary Society during years around 1975.  During this time several plays were given by me here at 2nd Baptist Church.  I also sang in the Junior and Senior Cho:00irs.  At present, I belong to the Martha Circle and hold office of Secretary, also I am a member of Sunday School Class #2.

WORK:  I am a 30 year United States Postal Service Retiree.  During these years I received 2 Superior Performance Awards and several Suggestion Awards as well as the many perfect scores made on scheme examinations.

COMMUNITY:  At present I work for the K.C. Board of Elections as a Supervising Judge. I also have served as block club Secretary.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:  I bowl with the Senior Palestine Rollers weekly.  My team won 1st place in the Summer of 2006 league.  Over the years I have enjoyed traveling in the United States and abroad.

Graveside Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27th at Maple Hill Cemetery.
