Stella B. Turner was born February 21, 1935 in Creston, Louisiana. She transitioned on February 18, 2020, four days before her 85th birthday. She was the daughter of Hezekiah and Eliza Williams. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri for 70 years with her family. She attended R.T. Coles High School in the Kansas City School District. Stella worked for Putsch’s Cafeteria, later she worked for the Veteran’s Hospital in the Dietician Department and then retired. She loved the Lord and love going to church and listening to good preaching and singing. Stella loved to crochet, travel, loved to eat, plant flowers and talking to her sisters daily about the bible and the family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold W. Turner, Sr., sons, Jerome and Terry; sisters, Marie Hargrove, and brothers, Zino, KC, Ajean, Hezekiah, stepdaughter, Princess Pulley and stepson, Harold W Turner, Jr. Stella leaves to cherish her memories, two grandchildren, Tiffiani and Terrance Reliford; her sisters, May W. (William) Smith and Carolyne Williams; brother, Darrell Williams, stepdaughter, Grace (Lonnie) Jackson and Veronica; and a host of step grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
