She lived most of her adult life in Kansas City, Missouri until the Lord called her home on July 10, 2021. She confessed Jesus Christ as her Savior and was a long-time member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Herbert Walker, and together they raised five children. Her family was the joy of her life and she was the happiest whenever her children gathered together at her home. She was a proud, and loving grandmother and was very involved in their lives. She was always thoughtful to remember birthdays, anniversaries and graduations by sending cards and bringing gifts. Her presence was always welcomed.
A GIVING HEART
She had a giving heart and helped others in their times of need by fixing meals and sending cards with words of encouragement. She donated clothing and other needed items to charities. She worked several different jobs, but one of her favorites was with the Visiting Nurses. She enjoyed this job because it gave her opportunity to help others who were in need.
In her life she enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, family and friends. Shopping was also one of her favorite past times. She lived a long, good, and full life and she will be greatly missed.
