Obituary

Doris Marie Coleman-Williams was born October 6, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late William and Mary Hentley.  She was the youngest of eleven children.  All ten brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Doris was united in marriage to Dallas Williams, to this union five children were born.  Dallas, Jr., Kenneth, Lacinda, Wade, Darlene.  Two preceded her in death, Kenneth and Lacinda.

Doris worked at UMKC School Of Dentistry until she retired in 1997.

Doris was a member of the Rescue Baptist Church Of Jesus Christ where she served on the Usher Ministry and Mission Society until her health failed.

Doris leaves to mourn her children, two sons, Dallas Williams, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Wade Lee Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Darlene Williams; twin sister, Betty Coleman of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren; great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 11:00am at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment Highland Park Cemetery, KCK. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at the chapel. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
