Ms. Darlene Williams

Darlene Williams, 77.  of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away May 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City Missouri.

She was born on December 9, 1945, in Kingston, Arkansas, to Sam Paskel and Gertrude Mitchell Paskel

Darlene grew up in Kingston Arkansas.  She graduated in 1963.

She worked for UMKC as a Housekeeper.  She worked for 30 years and retired in 2021.

Darlene attended Church of God in Christ.

Darlene married Herndon Williams (Peewee) in KCMO.  They were happily married for thirty years.

She enjoyed cooking, shopping and being with family.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Herndon (Peewee) Williams, mother and father Sam and Gertrude Paskel. two sons, Adrian and Timothy Williams.  She is survived by her two sons Anthony H. Wiliams and George Williams, one brother Travis Paskal, two sisters Dorothy Smith of KC, KS and Ruth Gilbert of Milwaukee, WI, one sister in law Katherine Williams, one granddaughter, Denisha Williams and a host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.at Lawrence A. Jones Mortuary, 1800 East Linwood, Kansas City, Missouri.  Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m.  at Forest Hill Cemetery.   Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel.
