Clemenstene Jackson, 70, was born on August 24, 1950 to the union of Clemon Hardimon and Frances (Davis) Hardimon in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents preceded her in death.
Clem as she was affectionately known was educated in the Kansas City public schools. She was employed by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority as the first female bus driver in 1974. She was later employed with the Midwest Contract Services, Inc. until she retired.
Clem was united in marriage to Arthur "Sammy" Jackson. She enjoyed sharing time with her blended family loving them as her very own. She was a very loving and friendly person who never met a stranger and was known for speaking her mind.
She departed this life on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospice House. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Arthur" Sammy" Jackson; four step children, Terry Jackson (Marsha), Arthur "Jap" Jackson, Jr., Paula Butler (Dwight), Rosalind Gregory, god daughter, Rashawnda Townsend; ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Services conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel.
