Victor Lee McNeary (Sonny, Slim Vic) by all that knew and loved him. Victor was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 20, 1952 to Argine McNeary. Victor was raised by his grand parents Willie and Edna McNeary.

Victor was a fun natured even as a child. He had another brother that preceded him in death. When he got his baby sister he was so glad he named her Baby. He was very protective of her but always caring for her. Victor loved to imitate his grandfather preaching in the pulpit.

Victor attended the elementary schools in St. Louis, but he really came to life when he attended Sumner High School where he played basketball and worked part time. He played most of his high school years until he suffered an injury. Victor always was a hard worker his first job as a young teenager was shining shoes to make money to go to the show and to have in his pocket.

Victor modeled during his teenager to young adult years. He enjoyed dressing and looking good. Victor was always an industrious hardworking man. He had worked as a Building Supervisor, Frontline Cook, had his own landscaping business and a Chemical Mixer with Auto Corps, in St. Louis just to name a few of his employment accomplishments. Victor loved people and had a heart to help and take care of others. But most of all Victor loved family especially in the later years of his life he wanted to spend a lot of time being around them.
