Loving Memorial Reflections
On July 9, 1990 Lonnell Cornelius Tucker was born in full life to Michelle D. Avery and Lewis C. Tucker Jr. He attended the public schools including Sumner Academy, Kansas University, and the University of Missouri – Kansas City, but always examined all information.
He participated in t-ball, soccer, basketball, football, debate teams, and track throughout his schooling and received recognitions in each. When he made his mind up to do something, he did it. His Mother recalls him not being selected for the Coronado Middle School basketball team. He informed her of his lack of concern of the situation due to his plan to go the next year to Sumner Academy and beat them while on Sumner’s basketball team. He did just that. He was very strategic in his thoughts and carefree in his actions. Although he partied through his college years at Kansas University, he was a very brilliant minded individual. He never sweated the small or big stuff. He just handled it to his capacity and moved on.
Some of his favorite hobbies were playing dominoes, video games, working out, reading, and exploring entrepreneurial adventures. He is a certified Home Inspector. His first financial generating venture was going door to door soliciting surveys. His other professions include working for UPS, Office Depot, CVS, Blue Bell, Pizza Hut Calling Center, Hy-Vee, U-Haul, Inteva, Grainger, FedEx, a HVAC restoration company, and stocking vending machines prior to his current job with BNSF Railroad. He was always willing and ready to learn new things.
He transitioned from the earthly existence on April 5, 2021. His Brother, Waynedale L. Avery and his maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him. He leaves to forever treasure his life, his Mother, Michelle D. Avery Bey, his Father Lewis C. Tucker Jr., his Brother Lewis C. Tucker III, his Sister Charlene Davis, his Daughters Aleena and Eden Tucker, their loving Mother and his fiancé Regina McKinney, and an abundance of other relatives and friends that loved him and he loved.
