Curtis Rowe,Sr.,58, passed away on July 18, 2021, KC Hospice House.
Curtis Anthony Rowe Sr. was called from this life at 2:12 A.M. Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Tony as we so fondly called him was born on August 2, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the tenth child of Howard and Leola Rowe. In addition to our parents, he was preceded in death this past April by his brother-in-law, Howard Moore.
Tony graduated from Southeast High School, class of 1980. He loved to barbeque, as well as throw his own birthday parties. He was friendly, kind, loving and a welcoming person. He was known for his Jersey and cap collections, as well as his love for his sons and family. I don't care how many gatherings we had, Tony would be there dancing or playing dominoes. He taught himself how to play the piano and the guitar.
Tony accepted the Gospel at Swope Parkway Church of Christ and served whenever he was asked. He also loved singing Bass with New Inspirations.
He Leaves to mourn his departure Seven Sisters, Delores A. Moore, Joanne Pope (George), Marilyn D. Bell, Vickie A. Bradford, Kathy L. Stokes, Arlene Y. Revels and Andrea M. Powell.
