Sallie L. Belton entered this world on September 10, 1953 as the youngest of four daughters born to Chester and Helen Belton who preceded her in death. She was lovingly known as “Mustang Sallie” to her family and friends. She met and married LeRoy Bryant July 1, 1982. There were no children born to this union. She was the mother of one daughter Bridgett L. Although Sallie battled with her own health conditions, she faithfully cared for both parents until they departed this life. She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder E. D. Wilson of the Mount Carmel Church of God in Christ.
She later served as a Sunday School Teacher, Usher Board member and Missionary under the leadership of the late Bishop Ervin Sims, Jr. Sallie enjoyed reading and spending time studying the bible; she enjoyed time with family playing games; putting together puzzles, watching westerns, and potting plants.
