Obituary

Ms. Mealonease Erby born August 23, 1936 in Atkins, Arkansas and deceased July 21, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ms. Mealonease Erby born to Mr. and Mrs. William and Connie Erby. She was preceded in transitioning by her seven sisters and six brothers and her granddaughter Ms. Aisha Dixon. 
     
     She was a student and graduated high school in Morrilton, Arkansas. Baptized in her youth she loved the Lord. Upon moving to Kansas City, Missouri she married Mr. Sammy Charles Dixon and in this union she birth her only child Ms. Brenda Dixon. She found a church home in Faith Mission of Kansas City, Missouri. She participated faithfully in the choir and bible study ministries at Faith Mission and enjoyed her church family and fellowship. She enthusiastically shared the experience of attending one of the Lord's houses and the message. She confessed Jesus Christ as the son of God for her salvation.


     Ms. Mealonease Erby is beloved by her daughter Brenda and son-in-law Daryl as well as a wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 


Rest in peace you will always be remembered no matter what your presence, love and kindness will forever be with us. Rest for now until we meet again.
 

Funeral Service will be held next Saturday, August 7, 2021, 11:00am at Faith Mission Church. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am-11am at the church. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared  on our website.
