Karl Loncenut Wilson, Jr. 64, took one last look at this world, held his hand out to God and said , “Im read”. Karl had accepted Jesus as his personal Savior many years ago. He transitioned on June 24, 2020. Karl was born May 22, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas to Karl L. Sr. and Frances Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Ruben Wilson. Karl was a very carefree, happy go lucky person, always had a smile and his famous chuckle. Growing up he was his Mothers Gentle Gian.
Protector of his sister and little brother. His fathers pro-football dram. He loved sports..excelled in football and baseball at Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS. He also loved music, played drums with a passion. He served a short period of time in the US Army, decided Military life was not for him. He returned to Topeka and became a father the next year. Karl and Ingrid Harness became parents to his first born, a son and 2 years later to a daughter. Karl worked in various fields of construction and factory jobs.
Karl leaves to mourn his passing a son Addarel Lamont Wilson, KCK, two daughters; Latasha Brown and Karly Wilson, his mother; Frances Wilson of KCK, a sister Darla Wilson-Templeton, Pleasant Valley, MO, a niece; Destiny Templeton and a nephew; Ronnie L. Templeton, a great nephew; Jayden Templeton and a great niece; Ashlyn Templeton, a special friend, his ex-wife; Toni Wilson, numerous relatives and friends in many different places. He also shared himself with his sons, half-siblings; Lakeyshia Brown, LaShonda Green and Andrey Green. To them and many others he was Papa Karl.
A Simple Farewell will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 2nd. Private Disposition.
