Emma Jean Bradford was born on January 4, 1942 in Dalton, Missouri. Emma Jean was born to parents Chauncey Jackson and Irene Harris-Saunders.
She graduated from Dalton Vocational Technical School.
Emma Jean moved to the Kansas City, Missouri area and worked in Housekeeping and Janitorial Service for several years.
She was married to Thomas L. Bradford and they had two children, Antonio Gene Davis and Monica Ann Davis.
Emma attended Westminster Baptist Church and was a member for several years.
She enjoyed being around her family, friends and enjoyed bowling, playing volleyball in the park and cooking for family gatherings.
Emma Jean passed away on September 19, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Hospice Care Center. Both parents Chauncey Jackson and Irene Harris-Saunders, son, Antonio Davis, four brothers, Marthsay, Martin, Jr., Sammy and Robert all preceded her in death.
She leaves precious memories to cherish: husband, Thomas Bradford; daughter, Monica Davis; sisters, Gladys Winn, Katherine (Melvin) Williams, Peggy Lucas and Diane Hughes; brothers, Chauncey Jackson, Jr., Ricky Jackson, and Darren Jackson; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 3rd at Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver Blvd KCMO 64130. Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial Gardens.
