Mr. Cleotha (Cleo) Clay was born August 15, 1934 in Greenville Mississippi to the late Cleveland Clay and Maude Baxter. He joined “Good Hope Baptist Church” later in his life under the leadership of Rev. James Jackson where he became a Deacon and very faithful one. Cleo loved going to Bible Study and playing the saxophone for the Church choir and other music functions.
He leaves a wife Carrie M. Clay of Kansas City, Missouri; 8 children Calvin Clay of Springdale TX, Michelle Carnes of Chicago, IL, Dexter Harris of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Harris of Atlanta, GA, Felicia Harris of Kansas City, MO, Gina Williams of Kansas City, MO, Cleotha Clay Williams of Kansas City, MO; 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters that proceeded him in death; and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 19th at Mount Calvary COGIC 2422 Van Brunt KCMO 64127. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery.
