CAROLYN D. GUEIN

Carolyn Delois Guein received her wings, January 22, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri.  Carolyn Guein was born May 31, 1951, to the union of Fred Thompson and Pearl Hudson in Selma, Alabama.  Carolyn was the oldest of four children.  Both parents and brother, Famous Hudson preceded her in death.  At the age of eight, Carolyn moved to Kansas City with her mother and three siblings where she attended and graduated from Paseo High School.  Later Carolyn met and married James L. Guein (11 years).  Three beautiful children were born to this union.  Carolyn worked at Commerce Bank as an Administrative Assistant for thirty-six years.  Carolyn was a member of Concord Fortress of Hope Church for more than twenty years.  This beautiful and loving mother enjoyed modeling, cooking, shopping, reading scriptures, spending time with her grand kids and family.  Carolyn also loved attending church and singing in the choir.  Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Adonis Guein (Melissa-Vaughns Guein), Darian Guein and Tara Guein; two siblings, Daniel Smalls and Denise Miller; five grandchildren, Cyril Guein, Darian Guein, Dommini Guein, Courtney Guein and Cydney Guein; along with a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Concord Fortress Of Hope.  Visitation 9:00 a.m. Interment in Twelve Gates Memorial Garden.
