Charles Leroy Logan, the youngest son of Jessie Mae (Coleman) and James Cecil Logan was born March 24, 1935 in Springfield, MO and departed this life Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Charles (Big Time) attended Lincoln School graduating in 1953. He Sang in the choir, was a memeber of the marching band and was a star player on the basketball team. Charles was a also a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and moved to Kansas City in the mid sixties. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters; Louise Franklin, Cecel Mae Blocker, Emma Cox and Darlene Logan, two brothers; James and Irving Logan, daughter; Mary Joan, son; Charles Arthur and grandson; David Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memory Corabell his wife of fifty years, 3 daughters; Marilyn Coffe and Darlene Logan, both of Wichita, KS., and Lareece Williams of Little Rock, AR, a son; Loverl Ramsey of the City, one sister Alma R. Clay, Springfield, MO and his beloved grandchildren, numbering in the teens, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 26th at 12:00 PM at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Visitation 11:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery.
