Bishop Henry Anthony Jackson 92, was born on March 29, 1930 to the union of J. T. Jackson and Dillie Mae (Brown) Jackson in Marshall, Missouri. His parents,four brothers, three sisters, one son, Archie White, one daughter, Pastor Rose Byrd and granddaughter, Evangelist Lenora Roberson , two wives, Betty and Johnnie all preceded him in death.

Henry was educated in the Marshall, Missouri Public Schools where he attended C. C. Hubbard High School through the eleventh grade have to drop out to attend to personal family matters. At the age of 21, on October 26, 1951 he enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corp serving for two years as a reserve officer during the Korean War. On August 22, 1959 he returned back to Marshall, Missouri.

Bishop relocated to Denver, Colorado and began working at the Packing House there for eight years. He later relocated to Kansas City, Missouri and began with the Armour Packing House until he retired in 1977. In 1978 he began working for the Kansas City Star for ten years.

Bishop accepted Christ at an early age he was ordained as a Deacon under the late Rev. C. Sharp, he was later ordained as an Elder under the late Chief Apostle Natalie Jones in 1969. He was lastly ordained and consecrated as a Bishop under Bishop Robert James.

He departed this life on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Redwood of Raymore.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a host of grandchildren, Bobby Roberson (Eva), David Roberson (Laverne), Conrad White (LaTara), Elder Armond Nelson, Sr. (Aretha), Kaia Mitchell (Kevin), Zara Jiles (Julius), Tammy Colen (Rev. Ray), Elder Darryel Johnson (LaToya), Dora Scroggins, Apostle Karen Yates and Marlo Murphy; 40 plus great grandchildren; 6 plus great great grandchildren; 2 plus great great great grandchildren, a host other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022,11:00am at Corinthian MIssionary Baptist Church 6841 Sni-A-Bar Road. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Marshall, MO. Visitation will be from 9am-11am at the church. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
