Barbara Elaine Belton entered this world on December 27, 1949 as the second daughter of Chester and Helen Belton who preceded her in death.
She was lovingly known as “Bobbie” to her family and friends.
Barbara received her education through the Kansas City Kansas Public School system, graduating from the Sumner High School class of 1968. After graduating, she remained active with her class by serving in many capacities that included: secretarial duties, decorator, and organizer of special events for many years until her health declined. She was loved and adored by her classmates.
She met Ronald Lee Sevier and after a short courtship they married on September 8, 1972. Their time together was cut short due to his unexpected passing in 1974.
She was the mother of one son Donald R. McKinney, Jr. He was the love her life and he faithfully cared for her in her declining health.
Barbara was employed at Howell Moldings for 19 years and Sunshine Biscuits for 4 years. She ended her employment to assist with the care of both parents in their declining years. She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder E. D. Wilson of the Mount Carmel Church of God in Christ.
