Mrs. Alma Louise Turner-White was born on September 26th, 1938 in Fort Gaines, Georgia to the union of Alvin L. Turner and Donnie Bell Murrary. Both of Mrs. Whites parents preceded her in death. She was Loving, Giving, & Caring. She was helpful and had a GREAT sense of humor. She received her schooling and graduated from Mays High School in Goulds, Florida. She united in holy matrimony to William Henry White on June 26th, 1967 in Miami, Florida. After marriage in 1968, together they relocated to Kansas City, MO.
She began her Christian journey at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and later united with The Paseo Baptist Church and was an active member. She participated in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. She was also involved in the City Union Mission Group and the Dorcas Circle.
Mrs. White leaves to mourn one daughter, Penny A. White and one son, William O. White both of Kansas City, MO. Three grandchildren, Daneshia L. White, Talia U. Jones-Cleare, and Richard L. Jones Jr. all of Miami, FL. Ten great grandchildren, Destiny Johnson, Zhane Cleare, Blair Cleare, Richard L. Jones III, Journey Terry, Rico Jones, Rashad Jones, Jordan Turenne, Zion Turenne, & Rhianna Jones in order of birth. One sister Betty Comartie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17th at City Life Church 4001 Wyoming St, Kansas City, MO 64111. Visitation 11:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery.
