Obituary Evangelist Missionary Veronica Elaine McLin affectionally known as “Hanky” was born on August 25, 1965, the 8th child and last girl born to the union of Willie and Leola Hill in Kansas City, MO. As a young girl, her beautiful spirit and passion for Christ was fostered from an early age at Faith Mission Church of God In Christ, where she sang in the choir. Veronica received her formal education from Paseo High School. After attending high school, she married her fellow classmate Vernon Lunn Jr. Through this union Veronica birthed 3 children Charmaine Marshon, Tiffany Nicole and Vernon Leroy III “Trey”. Naturally, Veronica was a very passionate mother, who enjoyed caring for her children and being a loving wife. Later in life Veronica met and married Anthony McLin on February 18, 2007, in Las Vegas, NV. Continuing her life’s mission and love for Christ, Veronica became a Missionary as a beloved member of Redemption Church of God In Christ where she flourished as an Evangelist, under the leadership of her friends and First Lady Bertha Packnett and Pastor Thuston Packnett, Sr. Veronica was touched by an angel and sent to her heavenly home on September 8, 2022. Her parents Willie and Leola Hill proceeded her in death. Also 1 sister, Shirley Ann Myers-Hill, 2 brothers, Russell Edward Hill, Sr. and Michael Anthony Hill, Sr. proceeded her in death. Those left with fond and cherished memories include her husband Anthony McLin, 2 daughters Charmaine (Charles Jr “Chuck”) and Tiffany Hill-Lunn, 1 son Vernon Leroy Lunn (Trey), 8 grandchildren, Charles lII, Cameron, Camri, Jayden, Jordyn and Jurneigh, Isaiah and Gabriella, 3 sisters, Alice Marie Campbell, Cynthia Lavern (Prescuff) Taylor, 3 brothers Billy Gene Hill, Ronald Wayne Hill, Gary Bernard Hill, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins, church family members and friends Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, 11:00am at Redemption Ministries COGIC.
