Ms. Tishauna D. Ballard

Hello my name is Tishauana Ballard. I was born January 12, 2002 to my mother Tamika Bowman and father Shon Ballard. My mother married Ernest Andrew Bowman, Sr. I was raised by them in a home filled with love. I was diagnosed with autism at a very early age. I was non verbal until the age of four. That's when I spoke my first words, thank you mommy. At that moment, my love for life, travel, education and fun began. I attended Faxon, Phyllis Wheatley and Pitcher Elelmentary School from preschool to 6th grade. I went to Northeast and Central Middle School where I graduated from the 8th grade. I completed my high school eduaction at Penn Valley Community College pursuing a performing arts degree. I was currently employed at the Internal Revenue Service for the last 6 years. I had a love for life, travel, fun and family. I love getting together with my friends and family. Going out to eat. I love to be catered too. Who wouldn't? I love fashion, I love to dress up and show my unique style when i step out. I was bold, beautiful, intelligent, creative, fun and loving. I was told many times my energy enetered the room before I did. I was a comedian and very outspoken to a fault if you ask my mother. On February 14, 2026, I planned a self love day to pamper myself. I planned a weekend of festivites. I got dressed up and went out with friends to celebrate Valentine's Day. The early morning of February 15, 2026 my journey here on earth came to an end. Yes, my departure from this world was abrupt. But I am okay. I'm at peace. My troubles of this world are no more. Grieve for me, but don't dwell on how i departed this world. Remeber my laugh, my smile, the jokes I told. My spirit lives on through family, friends and loving memories I share with all of you. I will always be with you. I was preceded in death by my grandfather, Charles Wainright, my stepfather, Ernest Andrew Bowman, Sr. and my cousin, Michael Anthony Bell. I leave to cherish my memory, my mother, Tamika Bowman, my dad, Shon Ballard, my two brothers, Isaiah and Michael Bowman, my grandparents, (maternal), Keresia Brown, (paternal), Willa Vann and Leonard Vann, Sr., my aunts, Tisha Brown, Kiana Lanier and Leticia Ballard-Sanders, my uncles, Jonathan Pinkney and Leonard Vann, Jr., a host of wonderful cousins, other family members and friends Funeral services Saturday, February 28, 2026, 11:00am at the Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 10:00am-11:00am at the chapel. Services conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
