Mr. Paul D Howard

To the union of Andrew and Grace Howard, Paul Dwayne Howard ,69, was born the only child on October 31, 1955. Mr./Mrs. Howard believed in providing their son the best of education as a young child through high school Paul attended Pembroke Hill School, located in Kansas City, Missouri. Paul always referred to the independent preparatory school as “Pem Day the school on the Hill.” In 1973, Paul graduated Pem Day and furthered his education at Cornell University, where he crossed over as a man of distinction as a Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. from there, he received his degree in Biological Engineering. Paul came face to face with the love of his life, Letticia Howard, while both were employed at Taliaferro & Brown (T&B) minority owned engineering firm. Paul was a devoted employee and loved a challenge, and that challenge moved him and his family to Phoenix, Arizona. As a project manager and special field inspector, he worked with integrity, dedication, and hard work with a deep commitment by coming up with easier ways of doing the job that would generate more revenue. As his family, we loved to hear about his daily work stories from different government agencies to CMT Technical Services and his last and loving employment family ATLAS. He was a Prince Hall Mason and also a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity At an early age, Paul was reared on the word of God at Centennial United Methodist Church, in Kansas City, MO. Then, he was blessed to be mentored and baptized by a man whose vision was to teach people that God will never leave you nor forsake you during your low/high days of life. Paul was thankful to Bishop Dr. Marvin E. Donaldson, when he served as residing Bishop at Greater Pentecostal Temple (GPT) in Kansas City, Kansas. Paul was a dedicated and faithful member at every church he attended at GPT he served on the Deacon Board and mentored the 12 step program. While residing in Arizona, he was a devoted member of security for the late Bishop Alexis A. Thomas at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church (PRBC). Then he became a member at the Carpenter’s House of Worship (CHOW) under the pastoral leadership of Apostle Dr. Ron Hale. His family cooked at every church they attended for free, some special occasion, some not. They cared for their congregation members and knew after receiving a great word from God. There was no need for them to go home and cook or stop and buy food!! His family believed in serving in the church and outside the church!! Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Letticia Ann Howard, his caring daughter, Tasha Denise Howard, his great-granddaughter, Jazniyiah Horton and his parents, Andrew and Grace Howard. He is survived by his children Kathryn McBeth, Thurmaine, Alajeda, Quotia and Dijonnaise Howard, Farrell Horton, Leonard Horton and children and Shequita Taylor and children. His grandchildren Iyana, Xavier ,Ze’Vion, Za’Davious, Zuri, Jaiden, Emerie, Amirah, Naomi, Kadiatu, Malachi, the twins Amara/Amiya, Ariana, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Gia’Vonnie, Emmanuel and Egypt; great grandchildren Aanyhis, Dairon Jr. and Danlyan and a host of family members, dear friends, loving co-workers and a multitude of church members. Funeral services Saturday, July 12, at 11:00am at Greater Pentecostal Temple. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 10:00am-11:00am at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Lawrence A.
