Obituary “Praise ye The Lord...Praise him for his Mighty Acts:” Psalm 150:1-2 Patsynna was born the fourth child of Bruce and Geneva Harrison in Kansas City Kansas on February 5th 1948. She attended and graduated from Wyandotte High School as part of the Class of 1967. She went on the attend Kansas City Kansas Community College and later Donnelly College graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She began her career with the United States Postal Service in 1974. Starting out as a casual mail-handler, she worked hard to move up the ranks to become the first Black female Postmaster. She worked as the Postmaster of Williamsburg Kansas from 1989 until she retired after 20 years of service in the position. Unable to sit idle after retiring, she went on to work for Nebraska Furniture Mart as cashier. While working at Nebraska she became known affectionately as “Ms. Pat.” Pat met and married Alton Easley, in October of 1983. He proceeded her in death. Patsynna professed her love for Christ and was baptized at an early age under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Roy A. Reed, where she continued to serve for more than 50 years before her health began to fail. Pat was dedicated to Christ and to the building of the Kingdom. During the years, she served as a member of the Usher Board, as a member of the Choir and the Baptist Training Union, as a Teacher for Vacation Bible School, as a Sunday School teacher, working in the Children’s Church and in the church Culinary department, where she was known for her Candied Sweet Potatoes. While working for the Postal Service, Patsynna served as a Union steward and ran postal training classes out of her own home to train people how to prepare, take and pass the Postal Service exam. Everyone that she helped study for the exam passed and are currently employed with the US Postal service. Patsynna loved God, her family, her family and her church family. She would always say that she was a child of the King, a chosen generation (1 Peter 2:9) No matter what her situation, she would always say, (What a Mighty God she Served!) On Thursday September 24th, God sent his angel down and to bring Patsynna home to her reward. She went on the Heaven to join her parents Bruce and Geneva Harrison, her son Keevin Bell, her grandson Michael Bell, her sister Amenia Taylor, her brother Antonius Hayes and her sister in love Elizabeth Harrison. Her nephews Clifford Williams and Vernon Carney in her Heavenly mansion. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Dorian K DeBose Sr and Keith A DeBose Sr of Kansas City. Grandsons Keevin Bell II (of Colorado) and Joshua Bell of Kansas City Missouri. Dorian K DeBose II and Garrett Edwards of Kansas City Kansas, and TSgt Keith A DeBose II of Las Vegas Nevada Granddaughters: Kharrington L DeBose, Keyanna DeBose, Trysten A DeBose, and Jasmine Roberson (Terrence) of Kansas City Kansas. Brandi Mack of Washington D.C. Great-Granddaughter: Elise Childs of Washington DC. Great-Grandsons: Jameer Bell, Michael Bell and Khai DeBose, all of Kansas City Kansas. Sisters: Fidella R Mackey and Renee C Adkins of Shawnee, Deonne Brown and Brenda Austin of Kansas City Kansas, Markenna Williams of Lathrop California. Her Brothers: Bruce L Harrison (Carolyn) Robert A Harrison (Tanya) of Kansas City Kansas, Charles E Harrison of Shawnee, Relxford Hayes and Bartlett Hayes of Phoenix Arizona. And a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, extended family, co-workers and her beloved Church family.
