Obituary Michael E. Jameson (Boo) 52 years old of Kansas City, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at his home surrounded by Family & Friends, after battling a long series of health issues. Michael was born to Billie Jean Jameson and Ocie Lee Williams on April 22, 1970. He was the second of five children born to this union. His father, brother, firefighter David F. Jameson, grandmother, Dorothy L. Williams and uncle, LeRoy E. Looney all preceded him in death. Michael received his formal education in the Kansas City Missouri School District having attended Wendell Phillips Elementary and both Lincoln High School and Central High Schools. Michael worked as a member of the Dietary Department at St. Luke’s Hospital for several years until his health declined. In addition, Michael worked as a Production Team Member for Costco’s Wholesale for ten years. Michael was a very prominent figure in the Kansas City Arts and Entertainment Industry and a Business Entrepreneur, as both a dance and Hip-Hop artist Michael was a true pioneer in the KC Hip-Hop Group Foe-B-Low. Michael who went by the stage name “Miguel” played a major role in making Foe-B-Low one of the most sought-after groups in Kansas City. Foe-B-Low’s unique sound and innovative creativity made the group a three-time winner of the Top Hip-Hop group in the Midwest by Pitch Magazine. As a founding member of Foe-B-Low Michael played an intricate role as producer and vocalist, with the assistance of Sean Timmons and numerous other collaborators. Michael has collaborated and performed with artist like Vell Bakardy, Tech N9ne, E-40, and a host of legendary Artist and Bands. Michael had an incredible love of music and art, he started his first production and management company and helped produce some great talent in Kansas City. He was very big on producing anyone in his family that had the same love for music, his brother, Ronnell Jameson and daughter, Zakiah Booka Jameson was part of his proudest moments as he helped produce them. His art and drawing was showed in his son, Zion. His intelligence of business and work ethic was passed down to his daughter, Zhyesia. One of Michael’s most treasured memories was when he headlined a performance at The Black Expo. Michael was a believer in Jesus Christ and would often acknowledge that he was blessed by God to do some of the many things he was able to do. He was a devout family man and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He was always there with financial support, his presence or just mere comforting words. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Billie Jean Jameson-Williams; his sons Andre Reece and Zion Jameson; daughters, Zakiah Jameson, Zhyesia Jameson, three beautiful grandchildren; sisters Rhonda Jameson(Kelvin)and Ronchelle Jameson; brother Ronnell Jameson(Gena), of Kansas City, Mo. His Flint, Michigan Family, brothers Ocie Williams Jr, Danny Williams, Joseph Williams, Sisters Elisha Williams, Ebony Williams LeShunda Williams. his girlfriend, Beverly Johnson, A Special Honorary Brother- Cousin LaRoy E. Looney. Aunts, Bessie L. Johnson, Berniece Simms, Arthelia E. Williams, Uncles, Arthur E. Williams(Amy), Nathaniel B. Williams(Teresa), Charles E. Williams(Alkeisha); a host of loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, 2:00pm at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition.
