Lois E. Taylor

Obituary Lois Elean Taylor, passed away peacefully November 12, 2018, after 95 years full of life and love. Lois was born March 10, 1923, in Rentiesville, Oklahoma to her parents, Nicholas Alvin Jr. and Carrie Robinson. She attended Rentiesville, High School, and as an adult ventured to Kansas City to establish roots and blossom. It was here she was blessed with a large, loving family consisting of eight sons and three daughters, a loving and supportive husband, home ownership, and a relationship she treasured most dearly—her bond with her heavenly father Jehovah God. Lois worked professionally at Lake City and Woodley, however she spent most of her years as a loving homemaker. She was affectionately given the nicknames, DW and Golden Girl by her family and friends. Lois had a quiet yet strong disposition, she was humble, funny, patient, gave wise advice, and had a beautiful smile. Lois enjoyed music, gardening, and observing nature. While visiting her home you’d often find yourself sitting with her and watching cooking shows, Tiger Woods play (she loved him), or her fav-the Home Shopping Network (she enjoyed the programming although she hardly ever placed an order). Lois was known to have a sweet tooth, with a candy stash the little ones often flocked to. She also loved spending time in field service and attending weekly services. Lois enjoyed spreading the good news and did so until the very end. Her faithfulness and dedication to Jehovah’s Kingdom is what kept her heart full of joy and peace. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Benjamin Taylor. As well her siblings Horace (Lois’ twin brother), Nicholas III, RZ, Aaron (aka Buddy) and Claudine. She is survived by her children Maurice Robinson, Alvin (Doris) Love, Nathaniel (Arnetta) Love, Vincent (Rosemary) Love, Jerry & Jewell Love (Lois’ twin boys), Sharon Robinson, Howard Robinson, Joseph (Ann) Robinson, Connie Mason, Mary (Robbie) Oliver, Frederick (aka Butch) & Gerald. As well as 43 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, a host of cousins, and other relatives and Friends. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Kingdom Hall 2000 East 34th Street KCMO. Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
