Obituary MRS. LILLIE MAE HENDERSON CLYCE The ending of mortal existence for Mrs. Lillie M Henderson Clyce became a reality on the ninth day of July in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Nineteen. There is a sting in death, but immortality is the hope of every Christian triumph over this dreaded adversary and brings into focus the promised celestial home where one can live in freedom, peace, and eternal rest. The life of Mrs. Lillie Mae Clyce began on October 11, 1928 in Fulton, Missouri to the late Otha Lee Henderson Sr. and Winnie Ann (Pasley) Henderson. Lillie was a loyal member(mother) of Calvary Baptist Church and participated in many activities. She worked for 15 years at the University of Missouri Medical Center as a nurse tech, then 8 ½ years as an attendant at Fulton State Hospital. One of Lillie’s biggest joys were the years she spent as a Foster Grandparent in the Fulton School District. She had the pleasure of engaging and fostering relationships with many children and families in the Fulton Community. In October of 2018, Lillie’s 90th Birthday was an event we all will remember. The love that was shown towards Lillie at her 90th birthday party was priceless, and I believe it was one of the highlights of her lifetime on this earth. I, Thomas Clyce, personally know the love she showed, and the love given was beautiful, because I was blessed to have that love for 71 years. Our beloved matriarch, Lillie Mae Clyce is survived by one son: Thomas M. Clyce (Carolyn) of Lee’s Summit, MO, one bother: Granville E Henderson of Springfield, MO. Two grandchildren: Damon M Clyce of Lee’s Summit, MO and Christina Bright (Clyce) of Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren: Grady D. Johnson of Sheridan, WY., Taylor M. Louchart of Kansas City, MO., Bailey M. Clyce of Springfield, MO., Dazia S. Clyce of Atlanta, GA., Jamall I. Clyce of Atlanta, GA., Jamylah S. Clyce of Atlanta, GA., and Storey M. Clyce of Lee’s Summit, MO. Great-great grandchild: Tailee Johnson of Sheridan, WY, and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. She will truly be missed by all!
