Jacqueline Tota

Jacqueline D. Tota, age 52, departed his life on December 17, 2017, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Jacqueline was born on September 14, 1965, in Basseterre, St. Kitts/Nevis, West Indies to Leroy A. Warner and Belinda A. Tota-Millard. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Adrianna C. Tota, grandfather, Claxton H. Phipps, and Joe Warner and Cecelia Warner. Jacqueline grew up in St. Thomas, USVI. She graduated from CAHS in St. Thomas, USVI in 1984. After high school she attended CAN school in Stone Mountain, Georgia and attained her Certification in that field. She worked at Darcy Hall Nursing Home in Florida, Carondelet Nursing Home, and Blue River Nursing Home from 1996 to 2004. Her passion was being a CAN. Because of her health, she was not able to pursue becoming an RN. Her second passion was working with children. She went into Child Care and her last employment was at Grow in Peace from 2005 to 2010. Jacqueline was a member of Christian Tabernacle, but because of her illness, etc., was attending a Baptist Church in Grandview that had shorter services. Because of her health, it tired her to sit for a long length of time. Jacqueline enjoyed serving the Lord Jesus Chris, game shows, the travel channel, and Food Network. Seeing that she could not do too much traveling, she watched the various countries on television. She was in prayer for all her family members and loved and kissed them on their noses and played with their ears as well. Jacqueline D. Tota leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Belinda A. Tota-Millard; step-father, Alpha Millard, Sr.; father, L.A. Warner (M. Warner); siblings: Errol Tota, Mrs. Sandra Forbes (Rudolph Forbes), Jasmine D. Tota (Twin), Alpha Millard, Jr. (Karlene Rawlins-Millard), Mrs. Tanashia N. White (Stewart M. White, Sr.), L. Warner, Jr., Mrs. K. Warner-Lasasso, and C. Warner; nephews: Rashaun Felecien, Mrs. Jasmine C.I. Gant, Tre T.D. Roper, Brendon E. Tota, Darrian C. Tota, Temoi D. Roper, Joshua K. McCoy, Sebastian D. White, and Stuart M. White, Jr.; nieces: Jaanai Forbes, Erriel M. Tota, Kalytra A. Millard, Kalyia A. Millard, and Kalyandra A. Millard; uncles: Lionel Caines, Abudul Sobrette, Leonard Warner, Kenneth Warner, Mervin Warner, Raymond Warner, and Albertis Warner; aunts, Daily Williams and Jeannette Canonnier. Funeral Service for Jacqueline D. Tota will be held Wednesday, December 27, at 12:00 a.m. at the Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment, Twelve Gates Cemetery.
