Mrs. Faye D. Moss

Faye Doris Moss was born on June 19, 1942, in \Wendell, Missouri. She spent her early years growing up in Caruthersville, Missouri and Argentine, Kansas before moving to Kansas City, Missouri. In 1960 she graduated from Central High School. Around this time, she along with her parents, Willie and Luther Talbert, began studying the bible with Jehovah Witnesses. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1961 after which she served as a regular pioneer for several years. As a young woman she worked many years for Hallmark Card Inc., which may have something to do with her always sending greeting cards to family and friends for every occasion. In 1972, she married Lee Moss, they would go on to raise three children in Lincoln, Nebraska. Faye was married twenty-three years before her husband passed away in 1995. Faye Moss was a hardworking, caring, and self-sacrificing person. She always put others first even if, it was at a cost to her. She had a laugh that was contagious. She was a loyal worshipper of Jehovah. She kept her eyes on the prize of a new life in paradise earth. Her faith never wavered. Faye Doris Moss passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She is survived by her mother, Willie Tolbert; her daughter, Leslie; and her two sons, Steven; and Phillip; as well as two grandchildren, Monica; and Tyler. Though Faye will be greatly missed, we eagerly await the time when will be able to welcome her back with open arms. For John 5:28,29 says, “Do Not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out.” For God’s word promises in Revelations 21:4, 5: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said, “Look, I am making all things new” also he says, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Memorial Services will be held on Friday October 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Swope Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3601 East 53rd Street KCMO 64130.
