Mr. Dwight D. Gardner

Dwight Damar Gardner, Sr. was born April 20,1987 to Pamula Moore & Dwight Gardner, in Kansas City, Kansas. Dwight had many nicknames! He was affectionately known as: ‘D-wight’, ‘Wit’, ‘White’, ‘White Boy’, ‘Spanky’ & ‘Mook’! He was really a people person & loved to spend time with family, cooking, BBQ’ing & watching the Chiefs play. Dwight attended Douglas Elementary, Central Middle & Wyandotte High, where he graduated in 2005. In Dec 2024, he started attending Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts! Some of Dwight’s previous employers: GM, Walmart, Nissan & Enterprise. He was born & raised attending St. John Missionary Baptist Church, under Pastor Cleotis L. Cobbins and later Pastor Wil Adams, where he professed his love for Christ & was baptized at an early age! He was very active (like he really had a choice, LOL!) in the Youth & Mass Choirs & Youth Department activities! He met Jennifer Holliday in 2006. They had 2 daughters, Janaya & Jaiden! In 2019, he met, who turned out to be The Love of his life, Jennifer Wilson! They were officially married on Nov 3, 2023. To this union, 2 sons, Dwight Jr & Kingston, were born. He also loved & talked about his ‘Bonus Children’! He grew so much as a Young Family Man & loved his family! He also took care of his Mother, making sure she was good! During 2023, their family began attending & in 2024, joined Victory Outreach Church, under Pastor Dan Tynch, who he developed a close relationship with. Dwight leaves to cherish his memories, his Loving Wife, Jennifer Wilson-Gardner; sons, Kingston & Dwight Jr. Gardner, Leonard Wilson, of the home; daughters, Jaiden & Janaya Gardner, (KCKS) & Hannah Wilson, of the home; mother, Pamula Moore (KCKS); Brother, Vernell Banks (KCKS); sisters, LaTosha Fradieu (Jessie), Lithonia, GA, Dwan Gardner-Terrell (Ricardo) (KCMO); two aunts, Teresa (Wayne) Johnson (KCMO) Georgia Mae Moore (KCKS); one uncle, Lawrence (KCKS); two nephews, Tyran Smith, Diamond Durham-Banks; one niece, Jeannay Fradieu and a host of cousins & Friends! Funeral services Saturday, February 22, at 11:00am at Forest Grove Baptist Church. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation 10:00am-11:00am at the church. Services conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
