Ms. Christina Becker

Christina Delores Becker passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. She was gifted to this world and her parents Preston Brown and Denise (Wiley) Faramarzi on June 18, 1973. Christina grew up in Kanas City, KS. Christina graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in Kanas City, KS in 1992. After High School she attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS where she studied Child Education. Christina later also studied at Friends University. Christina had great love and passion for children, she furthered this love by serving in many capacities as Child Care Provider, Para-Professional, Special Needs Educator and as a Substitute Teacher in the Private Education Sector as well as in the Kansas City, KS Public Schools, and Topeka Public Schools. Christina was a very active member growing up at the Madden Temple Church of God in Christ where she was involved in the Sunshine Band, Youth Choir, YWCC, Usher Board, and many other capacities. Christina accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a Young Adult and has been running for Christ ever since. As an Adult Christina was an Aspiring Missionary and fervent communicator of her Love for God through many one-on-one conversations with family, friends, and strangers alike. Christina loved to give a Positive Word of Encouragement through her Social Media Platforms, these words echoed God’s Love and will truly be missed. The Greatest Gift in Christina’s life was being a mom, a new grandma, aunt, big cousin and a lover of Children. Christina took pride in being an advocate for children. Her life goal was to ensure kids and teenagers felt God’s Love and presence through the simplest acts of kindness and attention. She was known for making sure the kids she knew, and strangers alike had smiles on their faces. She understood that the smallest gestures could go a long way in a child’s life. She showed this using her resources and time freely. Her love for her own children was second to none. She was proud to be their mother and would do whatever she could for them. Christina was preceded in Death by her maternal grandparents, her grandfather James Wiley Sr, her grandmother Ruby Wiley, and her mother Denise (Wiley) Brown-Faramarzi. Her uncles James Wiley Jr., Robert Wiley, Steven Wiley, and Stephen Brown. Her aunts Marva Wiley, and Bonita Wiley. Christina leaves the following to cherish her memory: Her father Preston Brown. Her paternal grandmother Marion Brown. Her children who she loves dearly, Joy, Aaron Jr., Honesty, and Destiny (Juan’tario Roberts). Her favorite new guy, her grandson Juan’tario Jr. Her Brother David (Delynia) Brown, her nephew Dalyn, and her niece Daeleon. Her uncle Victor Brown. Her aunts, Brenda Ford, Jackie (George) Ikerd, Dollester (Keith) White, Toni Johnson, Jana Brown, and Diana Brown. A host of cousins and loved ones. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, 12pm at Faith Deliverance FWC. Private Disposition. Visitation from 11am-12pm at the church. Services conducted by Lawrence A.
