Obituary Birdie M. Morgan-Williams, 76, passed away on May 6, 2021 at St. Luke Hospice House Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. Birdie was born on March 31, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank and Kathryn Ford Morgan. Birdie grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1964. Birdie began work for Mobil Oil Corporation in 1965 as a Key Punch Operator where she worked for twenty-five years. She retired in 2013 after sixteen years working at Truman Medical Center in the WIC Department. Birdie married Dan Williams, Sr. in 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were happily married for eighteen years. Birdie accepted Christ at an early age. She was a beautiful, caring and supportive woman and friend. She was a role model. She had a love for music (rhythm and blues). She enjoyed entertaining and having gatherings with family and friends especially around the holidays, the fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed watching movies and loved watching Columbo, Perry Mason and Law and Order. Birdie was a very hard-working woman and never took a day off from work. She always took care of home. She loved her children and grandchildren and would find a way almost always to give them what they needed. Birdie was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Kathryn Morgan, bother, Donald Morgan, sister, Donna Morgan, husband, Dan Williams, Sr. and granddaughter, Brandy Williams. Birdie is survived by daughter, Chantay Marie Bell (Morgan); son, Kevin L. Morgan; stepdaughter, Gwen Williams-Curry; stepson, Dan Williams, Jr. all of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, DeMarcus Levelle Edwards, Ja’Lyn Marie Grayson, Ke’Shay Marie Morgan, Jonae Spencer, Kenya Curry, Deanai, Sydnee, Jasmine, Doron, Tyrese, Ronald and Tyler; great grandchild, DeVoe Marrow, Jr.; nieces, Shanna R. Cranston and Kisa L. Morgan; great niece, Shannon Lanae Morgan; great nephews, Devin, Jayson and Cameron McDaniel and Jaycob Cranston; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, 12:00pm Mt. Calvary COGIC. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm at the church. Service conducted by Lawrence A.
