Mrs. Beverly Richardson

Beverly Richardson, passed away on June 10, 2026, at Research Medical Center. Beverly Ann Richardson was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 31, 1942. She lived in Kansas City her whole life with her parents (preceded in death) Carl C and Willa Mae Campbell, and her two Sisters Ida (preceded in death) and Marion (preceded in death), her two brothers, Carl (preceded in death) and Ronald. Beverly graduated from Paseo High School and continued her education by attending Kansas University. She went to work for the United State Postal Service, where she met the love of her life, Past Grand Master Franklin Richardson. Beverly retired from the Post Office after 33 years. She then went to work for Dillard’s Department Store for over (9) years. Beverly’s love for creativity and connection shined through transforming any occasion into a memorable celebration. Whether it was family gathering, or a Masonic Family event, her creative spirit and meticulous attention to detail that each event was filled with love and happiness. Bowling was another beloved pastime for Beverly. She found joy in the camaraderie of the lanes, relishing the friendly competition and laughter shared with friends and family alike. Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year. Beverly had an unparalleled enthusiasm for the holiday season, filling her home with decorations, lights, and heartfelt traditions that brought her family together. Her festive spirit shined brightest as she orchestrated family gatherings, ensuring that each celebration was filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of togetherness. Above all, Beverly treasured her family and friends. She dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting those she loved, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. Her laughter will echo in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to guide us as we carry forward her legacy of love and connection. Beverly started her career in the Masonic Family in Elect Ladies Chapter #15, Order of the Eastern Star. She has serviced every position in the chapter and serving as Worthy Matron. On July 19, 2012, she was elected Grand Worthy Matron of Harmony Grand Chapter, Order of The Eastern Star, Missouri Jurisdiction PHA. She was elected Secretary and has serviced in that position for 36 years. She is a member of Allah Court #6, Daughters of Isis, Kansas City Assembly #7, Order of the Golden Circle, Queen Marlex Court #233, Order of Cyrenes, CPR Court #3, Heroiness of Jericho and at the 123rd Harmony Grand Chapter Session. She was presented with the honor of Past Honorary Most Ancient Grand Matron by Most Ancient Grand Matron, H. Ethel Smith-Johnson. Beverly was married to the Franklin Richardson who is a Past Grand Master of Missouri (who preceded her in death). She also leaves her last living sibling Ronald (Linda) Campbell, sons, Royal (Kellye) Richardson and Warren Richardson; daughters, Courtney Richardson, Willetta (Joe) Richardson-Andrews and Angelica (Sean) Allen. They also have 14 grandchildren, Latisha Richardson, Marlena Richardson, Royal Richardson Jr., Mialynn Porchia, Joseph Richardson, Alexander McDole Richardson, Vanessa Lynn McDole Richardson, Warren Ross, Thomas Key, Terrence Key, Trenton Richardson, Sean Allen Jr., 18 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Beverly and Franklin were long time members of Concord Fortress of Hope Church of Kansas City, Missouri. Christian Services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. KCMO 64130. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery.
