Mr. Aldine "Chucky" Proctor,. Jr.

Aldine Proctor, (affectionately known as “Chuckie” or “Chuck”), was born as a precious gift to the union of Aldine and Flossie Proctor of Atlanta, Georgia. Aldine was raised in the embrace of a loving family of joy and strength. Aldine moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1965 to be with his mother and brother after living with his grandparents William and Bessie Sales. His early education was at Greenwood Elementary and Wendell Phillips Elementary Schools in Kansas City, Missouri. He then attended Lincoln Academy and Central High Schools in Kansas City, Missouri as a junior and senior. He later received his GED, after which he enlisted in the Army in 1983. Aldine attended a trucking school in Hawaii and earned his CDL. He later worked as a cook at various restaurants around the greater Kansas City and surrounding areas. Aldine’s faith in Christ Jesus was the anchor of his life. He gave his life to Christ and was Baptized at an early age. He later united with New Home Church of God in Christ, Kansas City Missouri, where his parents are members as well. He was a faithful member and in regular attendance to the Friday Night Fire Call Line and remained actively involved until his health would no longer allow. He joined and was an involved boy scout with the Boy Scouts of America under the leadership of Scout Master McFeeders. He also has lots of hobbies he enjoyed. He loved football, basketball, horseshoes, playing dominoes and darts. Chuckie had a beautiful voice but was very shy when it came to singing and was a very talented artist as well. He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle. Aldine was preceded in death by his father, Aldine Sr., his maternal grandparents, William and Bessie Sales, his bonus grandmother, Estelle Miller, and a Special Uncle, Albert Edwards, Sr. Aldine leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Aaron and Flossie Edwards, Kansas City Missouri, sons, Tirrell Brock, and Aldine Christopher Proctor, daughter, Ashley Proctor, grandchildren, Tirrell Brock, Jr., Montavion, Carissa, Ava, Eva, and Stephonie, brothers, Gary, (Lisa) Proctor, Dwayne, (Sherry) White, and Edward Wynn, sisters, Adria and Marilyn Edwards, Kansas City, Missouri, Jelene and Raydell Wynn, Kansas City, Missouri, and Debra Woods. Fourteen nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews and his Best Friend, Elvis Young, Houston, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Home COGIC 3045 Forest Ave. KCMO 64109. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation: 10 – 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
