Mabeline Brazil Brown Porter was born on November 21, 1930 to the union of Jack Henry Brazil and Beulah Bennet Brazil in the town of Fordyce, Arkansas. She was the eldest out of 18 siblings.
Mabeline was united in her first marriage to George Brown, Jr. (Deceased). To that union five living children, George Ann (Deceased), Bettye, Ocie, Timmie and Barry; three deceased children, Wade Edward, Duncan Edrick and Beulah Mae. Later she married second husband, Gordon C. Porter, no children to this union.
She worked as a dietician for several nursing homes and retired from Clara Manor Nursing Home.
She was an active long-time member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church; involved on the Mission Board, Usher Board, Sunday School for over thirty years.
Mabeline was preceded in death by her husband, Gordan Porter, daughters, George Ann Brown, Beulah Brown, two sons, Wade E. Brown and Duncan Edrick Brown.
Mabeline departed this life August 20, 2019 and went to her eternal home.
Mabeline leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Bettye J. Brown of Kansas City, Missouri; three sons, Ocie (Jeenne) Brown of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Johniall Brazil of Fordyce, Arkansas; one sister, Myrtis B. Jackson of Fordyce, Arkansas; Timmie (Vivian) Brown of Kansas City, Missouri, Barry Brown of Charleston, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Michcah of Kansas City, Missouri, Charles of Raytown, Missouri and Chan, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Macline of Kansas City, Missouri, Willis, Jr., Leland Flooidre, TJ of Kansas City, Missouri, Amanda of Kansas City, Missouri, Angelica of Texas, Akeyla of Minnesota, Ocie, DeShawn of Texas, Ocie, Damon, Michcah of Seattle, Washington and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Memorial Church International. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill and Calvary Cemetery.
