MOTHER LILLIAN M. PETERS
Lillian Black Peters was born to Henry and Daisy Black in Cantonment, Florida, on May 17, 1939. Lillian moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1959, where she lived with her uncle William Rodgers and met adopted parents Reverend L.C. Sealse and Susie Seals. She came here with best friend Marian Richardson and one child son. Tony Black. She worked at Swope Ridge Osteopathic Hospital, George Nettleton Home and Myers Nursing Home where she retired. Lillian married Richard Peters in Jan of 1969. She joined True Faith Missionary Baptist Church, and she had membership with Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church all of Kansas City, Missouri. Lillian was the mother of four daughters, Sherrie Black, Donna Black, Dana Black Richardson and Kim Peters. In 1976, she moved to College Avenue where she remained until God called her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 1700 Linwood Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri 64134. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Interment Mount Moriah Cemetery.
