Everlee Warren passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Everlee was born November 12, 1914 to Sam Menzie and Rena Cole in Batesville, Mississippi.
She grew up in Batesville, Mississippi during her early years. After she married, she moved to Orange, Texas for a short period of time. Later the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri.
Everlee accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Roser Simpson CME Church where she was actively involved.
She worked for the Montgomery Ward’s department store as a merchandising clerk for many years until her retirement. During her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Everlee married Willie Warren, Sr. There were married for over 50 years until his death. She was preceeded in death by her father, mother, two sons, and two daughters.
Everlee leaves to mourn, daughters; Mattie Cain and Annette Whitcomb of Kansas City, Missouri, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lawrence A. Jones and Son’s Linwood Chapel. Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery.
