Sunday’s was her day to watch football on the color TV if it was a team she really liked. If she wasn’t that fond of the team, we were able to watch the Disney Family movie on the color TV and she would watch the black and white TV. Ellen also loved teaching her children on Saturday evenings about the word of God. Ellen taught her girls scriptures about baptism and taking of the Lord Supper. Before we could be baptized or partake of the Lord’s Supper. Ellen enjoyed her six grandchildren whom she adored so much. Every fourth of July, she would take them to breakfast and to buy fireworks.
