CARL EDWARD ROLLINS
Carl Edward Rollins was born on July 19, 1949 to the union of Ennis Rollins and Lillie Fay Bernice Rollins in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Richard Washington; brothers, Lonnie F. Rollins and Ennis Rollins, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Fowler King, Eva Rollins-Jenkins, and Viola (Mickey) Dunbar. Carl accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Carl attended Lincoln high school and later earned his GED. Carl was united in marriage to Jacqueline Williams and to this union, their daughter, Carla Fay was born. Carl also married Wanda Raycene Freeman, there were no children born of this union. Carl also had three other children, Richard Washington, Phillip Boldridge and Shanika Whitley-Walker. Carl worked for Owens Corning until his retirement. Carl was an avid skater and also enjoyed swimming in his early years. He also enjoyed working on cars and baking. He was famous for his german chocolate cake and banana pudding. Carl leaves to cherish his memory, son, and Phillip Boldridge; daughters, Carla Rollins-Pulce and Shanika Whitley-Walker (Tyrell). He leaves eleven grandchildren, Marcel McClain, Courtney Boldrige, Jasmine Boldridge, Kenny Jordan Pulce, Rich’e Washington, Serenity Bratton, Kyonna Washington, Phoebey Boldridge, Sarvaya Baldwin, Ian Walker and Ryan Walker; and a great grandson, Jeremiah Boldridge. Carl also leaves four brothers, Prett Rollins, Mack Isaac Rollins (Audrey), Caleb Rollins and Paul Rollins. Four sisters, Deloris Reynolds, Rachel Hardin, LaPearl Nevils and Christine Hardiman and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
