Beatrice B. Mc Daniels, 93, was born to Clarence and Lola Bishop in Kansas City, Kansas who preceded her in death. She passed at Maple Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hiawatha, Kansas on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
She was united in matrimony to Roy Adair August 10, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas. To that union “the love of her life” was born, Malcolm R. Adair, who preceded her in death along with her sister Thelma Bishop. She was educated in Kansas City, Kansas. She was in the second class to graduate from Sumner High School in 1943 of Kansas City, Kansas. Beatrice received her formal education at Webster University and Park University where she obtained a master’s in business, master’s in management & a nursing degree.
She retired from the VA Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas. She then continued her nursing career at St. Josephs Nursing Home. She also willfully volunteered throughout the community with her nursing skills. Beatrice Mc Daniel enjoyed traveling, cooking breakfast and dinner for her family as well as entertaining friends and family on her side porch which was therapeutic for loving family memories. She loved the Lord and always shared her religious beliefs with her family and friends in her Christian home. Beatrice was a faithful participant of Our Lady St. Rose Church in Kansas City Kansas.
Grandma Bea was the matriarch of her family and enjoyed spending time with her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; Michelle Anderson, Anthony J. Adair, Beatrice Adair, and Malcolm Adair (Regena). Devoted Niece Sheila Winbush, 13 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Kansas Chapel. Visitation 1:00 P.M. Interment Private Disposition.
