Annette Watts Butts was born on March 13, 1940 to the union of Annie Mae Doss and General Lafayette Watts.
She moved to Kansas City, Missouri and a few years later, she met Roy W. Butts and was united in marriage December 1959.
Annette was a very religious person. She and her sisters used to have Prayer Meetings at each other homes. She enjoyed reading and her favorite book was the Bible. She always talked about the Shiloh Baptist Church where her grandfather pastored. Annette joined the Second Missionary Baptist Church when it was located on the second floor of Bank Midwest at Truman Corners in Grandview, Missouri.
Annette Watts Butts departed this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at her home.
Visitation for Annette Watts Butts will be held Friday, September 7, from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd.
Interment, 1:30 p.m., Leavenworth National Cemetery.
