Alberta Munthali was born on August 15, 1943 to the late Almira Rayford in Crittenden, Arkansas, City of Vincent. Alberta was preceded in death by her mother, 8 siblings, Robert Jackson, Rudolph Brown, Willie Brown, Roy Rayford, Jerry Rayford, Annie B. Harper, Mildred Gray and Delois Moore. Alberta moved to Kansas City, with her mother and siblings in 1959. Alberta attended Lincoln High School. She loved to dance, socialize and just be the life of the party. Alberta confessed Christ at an early age. She worked several jobs: The Kansas City School Board and Proclean Maintenance are just to name two. At Proclean Maintenance she was the supervisor. This position gave her the opportunity to assist her family and friends with employment also, she would offer them transportation to get to work if needed. Alberta married twice. She was married to Joe Lee and this marriage was later dissolved. Alberta then married Noel Munthali. After 49 years of this blessed marriage, it ended due to her husband’s sudden death. Neither marriage presented them with children. Alberts leaves to cherish her precious memory three siblings: Loraine Thomas of Stafford, Texas, Bobby Joe Rayford (Gloria) of Vallejo, California, Annette Dunnell (William) of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Linwood Chapel. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery.
