Wanda Rochelle (Freeman) Dennis

Obituary Wanda Rochelle Freeman Dennis was born on January 30, 1970 to the union of Mr. Monroe Freeman Sr. and Barbara Freeman of Kansas City Missouri. She departed March 9th 2019 Wanda was the youngest of all the children and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age while attending Faith Deliverance Family Worship Center Church of God in Christ, Inc of Kansas City Kansas. She represented her parents well, being a scholar in church and school. In 1989 Wanda graduated from Wyandotte High School. She then worked at the UMKC Campus until her health declined her. Love led her to her one and only husband Eric Dennis in matrimony in 2006. Together they worshiped at St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City Missouri. From this cherish able union a beautiful blended family became a loving home and she was a loving mother. She was preceded in death by father, Mr. Monroe Freeman and mother Barbara Freeman, maternal grandmother Ms. Charleso Marie Taylor , Mother in law; Ms. Julia A. Dennis, Brother in law; Darrol Dennis, one son; Antwan Damron, Brothers; Steve Robinson, Thurman Williams Sr, Sisters Laura Allan and Diane King, Step mother, Dorothy Williams (Big Mama), Step Brother, Willie Williams Jr and special uncle; Charles Guinn Sr. (Charlie Boy) all of Kansas City Missouri and Kansas. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved Husband, Mr. Eric Dennis, two special “angels” son; Kaylo Robinson, daughter; Angel Dennis, sisters Rita Buchanan of Minnesota, Fostina Spencer, Dorothy (Robert) Rimpsom, Angelia Freeman, Lawanda Freeman of Kansas City Missouri, brothers Malcolm Robinson (Vernice), Bryant K. Robinson of Minnesota. Brother; George Robinson (Joyce), Darrol (Deborah) Williams, Monroe Freeman Jr, Terry Freeman (Wanda) of Kansas City Missouri, special sister; LaKisha Jones (niece), Sister in law; Sharon Dennis and Linda Dennis Scales (Keith), Brother in laws; Everett Dennis and Aaron Dennis (LaTanya). To this blended family, one Son; Andre Dameron (Lena), three daughters DeEricka McMillian, Marie Woodson (Antonio) and Denisha Dameron, a very special great niece Jersiyah Mosley, one Uncle, Henry Daniels. A host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, great grand-children, extended family, church family and associates. Special thank you Ms. Shirley Briggs-Lockett. “We love ya!” Thank You again.
