Mrs. Shelia P. Carter Isaac

Obituary Sheila Patrice Carter Isaac 64, was born on May 18, 1958, to Larris Carter and Emma Lou Carter at General Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life on August 20, 2022 at her home. Her mother, Emma Lou Carter and sister, Linda Denise Carter preceded her in death. Shelia graduated from Paseo High School class of 1977. Following graduation she worked in various businesses while receiving training in the medical field as well as the accounting field. She worked most of her career in payroll and accounts payable for several well known insurance and seminar organizations. She enjoyed working as a lead accounting clerk over twenty years until COVID-19 struck. Shelia grew up in Faith Mission Church in Kansas City, Missouri under the leadership of the late Elder Hubert Lambert and remained there as an adult until his passing. She was invited to Evangelistic Center Church by her sister, Linda D. White who at the time was a co-worker of Bishop Jack C. Vaughn. She enjoyed the service so much she convinced members of her family and friends to join her. Shelia united Evangelist Center Church, she attended Tuesday Night Bible Enrichment Services, Women's Sunday School Class and served on the Bishops Nurses Squad. She hated not being able to worship in the sanctuary when COVID19 came, she truly enjoy worshipping with her church family. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as bargain shopping for family and friends surprising them with what they asked for, because Sales are for Saints. Shelia was united in marriage to Reginald Isaac, Sr. for 44 years. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces (But Not Too Long) and watching videos and singing with her granddaughter, Clarity. She had a godly sense of humor, but if you got out of line she would let you know. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Reginald Isaac, Sr., of the home; son and daughter in love, Reginald Isaac, Jr. (Margurite), Olathe, KS; father, Larris Carter, Sr., two brothers, Larris Carter, Jr. (Audrey), Kansas City, MO and Ricky Carter (Janet), Parkville, MO; three sisters, Wanda Hayes, Irma Cosby (Clifford and Angie Gordon (Perry) all of Kansas City, MO; a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 29, at 11:00am Evangelistic Center Church. Interment. Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am-11am at the church.
