Mr. Micha Leroy Green Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Born Into Creation At The University Of Kansas Hospital, on May 29, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas, Micha Leroy Green was the 7th child, born to the union of Betty and The Reverand Herbert Hoover Green Sr. Micha attended the USD 500 School District and enjoyed trying new things. Micha had a love for cars, motorcycles, and family gatherings. Micha was also family oriented and enjoyed spending time with his family. Micha had cousins that he was as close to as his siblings that he grew up with. Micha made it a habit of checking on his sisters making sure they were ok. He adored his nieces and nephews and was well loved by all of them and had an independent relationship with each of them. Micha was a foodie, therefore, he enjoyed fishing and eating. Micha also enjoyed cooking. His specialty was gravy. Micah was able to make any type of gravy you wanted and, in any flavor and shade. Micha loved to travel, and his favorite color was any shade of blue. (take a glimpse around the room at the immediate family/siblings/nieces/nephews and just smile) Micha was a faithful and hard worker no matter what job he held. He rarely missed a day of work. You could say that Micha was the jack of all trades and the master of them as well. No matter what job was held, he mastered it and shared his knowledge pertaining to working. Micah had a various range of jobs from working at Walker’s Fresh Foods, factory worker, dishwashing, and a cook. Micha's last job was held from 2000 to 2010 with Garbey’s Intl LLC. Micha worked at the grain elevators. Under the leadership of Pastor Mark Dupree, Micah was a faithful member of Grace Tabernacle Family Life Outreach Center in Kansas City, Kansas, until his health failed. One of his favorite past times included listening to The Grace Tabernacle Choir. Micah always found the music comforting and considered it as something that bought him closer to The Lord. Micha was preceded in his homegoing by his parents, his siblings, Herbert Green Jr.; Elaine Green; Robert Green; and Maurice Green; his nephew, Jay Hill Jr.; his great niece and great nephew, Ke’Miya Hill and Angelo Martinez. Micha leaves to cherish his loving memories his siblings (in order of births), Arlene Green Portland, Oregan; Ernest Green Dallas, Texas; Cheryl Green Tulsa, Oklahoma; Justina Green and Sylvia Green-Robinson Kansas City, KS; Talesha Green and Angel Green-Anderson (James) of Kansas City, MO; Micah also leaves behind a host of nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; cousins; family; and friends. 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” Whatever you did to console our hearts, by words, deeds, or touch we thank you so much, whatever the part! (noon) at Grace Tabernacle Family Life Outreach Center 1928 N. 47th Street KCKS 66102. Interment: Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (noon) at the Church.
