Mother Lillie Isaac

Mother Lillie Mae Isaac, 90, passed away on July 29, 2025, at St. Lukes East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born on December 7, 1934, in Crumrod, AK to Matthew and Mary(Tipton) Perkins as an only child. Mother Isaac grew up in West Helena, AK, and graduated from Central High. After High School she attended LPN training and received her License to work as a Practical Nurse. Mother Lillie worked at multiple hospitals for the greater part of her career for over thirty years. She then also worked as a private duty nurse for another thirty years. Mother Isaac received a certificate of fifty years of service from the State of Missouri Board of Nursing. Mother Isaac was a devoted servant of Christ working as a mission sister and a missionary worker. Mother also took in and cared for her elderly relatives, due to her not believing that they should not go to a home having other than family caring for them. Mother Isaac served fellow saints from far and near in her home. Also believing saints were not to go to a hotel when she could provide hospitality to them. She loved the Lord and worked diligently hard to evangelize others to the joy of having Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior also. Lillie met Louis Paul Isaac in Phillips County, Arkansas and married him November 17, 1956, and producing children from this union. Mother and Deacon Isaac were happily married for over sixty-six years. She had hobbies of reading the Bible, singing with her husband hymnals, praising the Lord, praying for saints and others in need. Mother Isaac was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, daughter Linda, son Louis, son Micheal and grandson Tremaine, also many, many other relatives. Mother Isaac is survived by a daughter Johnnie Gordon of East Rutherford, NJ, two sons Larry (Stephanie) Isaac of Powhatan, VA, Nathan (Marilyn) Isaac of Raytown, MO., and a daughter in law Carolyn Washington. She is also survived by our “Centenarian and Matriarch of the Family,” Isabel Stinson, affectionately known as Aunt Bell. As well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11:00am at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00am-11:00am at the church. Services conducted by Lawrence A. Jones Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
