Mrs. Lillie Green

Obituary Lillie Mae Green was born to Ruth Adams and Chester Brown on April 27, 1949 in Dermont, Arkansas. She came to Kansas City at an early age. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Lillie received her education in Kansas City, Kansas. She attended Dunbar Elementary School, Northeast Middle School, and Sumner High School. Lillie attended Donnelly College where she received a degree in Child Psychology and graduated number one in her class. Lillie is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Adams, her father Chester Brown, her husband Ernest Green, her aunt Dorothy Lewis, nephews Larry Adams and Willie Adams, and a niece Ikisha Adams. Lillie Mae was a tireless and selfless volunteer for many community activities. She was a dedicated volunteer at the food kitchen and taught the children in her family to do the same. Lillie was a loyal, loving, hardworking, and dedicated daughter, niece, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her children, family and everyone else's children were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Lillie Mae's kind spirit, passion for children, love of reading, enjoyment of music, and zest for life will live on through them. She leaves her memory to her two daughters, Dietra Reid and Jessie Pearl-Williams; a very special son-in-law Harry (Angel) Williams Jr..; two God-sent sons William Scaife and Jermonto Adams; seven grandchildren, Mikala Williams, Don’Terrio Gordon, Daronka Williams, Harry Williams III, Ezekiel Williams, Demetrius Scaife, and Jermonto Adams Jr.; eight sisters, Willie Ann Williams, Terry Lee Adams, Ruth Etta Scover, Rene Jones, Tina Brown, Trina Brown, Patty Brown, and Robyn Dubreus; two brothers Michael Brown and Travis Brown. Lillie has three special God sent brothers Roosevelt Scover Jr., Robert Williams, and Hollis Mack Sr...She also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 19th at Forest Grove BC 1417 North 9th St KCK 66101. Visitation 9am. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
