Mr. Keith Clark

Obituary Keith Edward Clark, 68, was born July 26, 1954, in Kansas City, MO to Isom “Bud” and Doriscella Clark. He was the fourth oldest of 5 children, Keith Clark fell asleep in death on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the KC Hospice House. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Darryl Thompson and one sister Annette Clark. Keith attended KCMO public school. He graduated from Central High School in 1972. He worked for the City of Kansas City Parks and Recreation for 25 years. Keith dedicated his life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in June 1974. Keith met and fell in love with Sheryl Denise Jackson and on May 17, 1975, they were married. To this union two sons were born, Dylan and Derek Clark. Keith was a fun-loving person and very generous. He loved Jehovah and enjoyed doing building projects at the Kingdom Hall. He would always give of his time to help out anyone who was in need of a helping hand, even when his health was declining. He found a way to assist anyone who needed it and never asked for anything in return except for them to continue to smile. You would always know when Keith was around because his wonderful smile would light up a room. If you were feeling down the only thing he had to do was look at you and give you that “kool-aid” smile and his smile became contagious. Keith loves traveling and taking pictures of the friends. And he also loved all kinds of planes, trains, and automobiles. That’s why his main hobbies were putting together model airplanes, trains, cars, and scenery and he was very detailed in his art. There is one passion Keith had that everyone he knew benefited from and that was his love for music. If you knew Keith, he would have at least 30 people down in the basement, and “the house would be rocking” every Saturday and Sunday when he got behind those drums. You would never pass up Keith’s house on the block because when you drove down Corrington Avenue you will see all the friend’s cars parked in the driveway and on the street and the sound of the “drums” would guide you to the right place. Keith’s favorite saying was, “Don’t get me wrong.” But there were four things that Keith cherished and loved more than anything else. His loving wife, His two sons, His two grandsons- to them he was Papa K, and most Important his creator, Jehovah God Keith leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Denise Clark, two sons Dylan L Clark (Marecie) and Derek L Clark (Amber), two grandsons Domanick Clark and Donovan Clark, one sister Princella Mickles(Howard), one brother Bruce Clark, seven nieces, Zina Mozie, Toiya Mickles, Tania, Sabrina, Sheila, Sherri, Sonya, two nephews Eric and Darryl Jr. and a host of cousins and great nieces, nephews, and friends.
