Ms. Joanne Michelle Stinson

Joanne Michelle Stinson was born on April 27, 1980 to Tanya L. Stinson and Micheal Smith in Kansas City, Missouri. To know Joanne was to love her, her presence was welcoming to all she came in contact with. She was a very loving soul , always willing to help others and always did it with a smile. Her love was nothing but unconditional. Joanne attended, St. Monica Catholic Elementary School, St. Francis Xavier Middle School and Bishop Hogan High School and was a graduate in the class of 1998. She furthered her education at MCC-Blue River Campus. She accepted Christ at an early age growing up in Progressive Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Kenneth Price Monroe. She later rededicated her life back to God watching church online, fasting and praying, bringing joy to others was her delight. She lived her life with no regrets, made sure she had her daily cups of coffee and them cigarettes. Joanne was employed at Kauffman Stadium for the Kansas City Royals for three seasons. She made many friends while working there. She was the best mother, grandmother and aunt that she could be. She truly enjoyed her quality time with her family. But most of all she cherished God, she often stated one day she will see God and hear him say Well DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. To us we feel like it was too soon but we know God has the final say. We are grateful for the 43 years that God allowed us to share our beautiful Joanne Michelle Stinson our WEEWEE and now she is rejoicing with her Pearl and GOD. Joanne departed this life on March 10, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Micheal Smith, mother, Tanya L. (Stinson) Payne; children, Cierra Waylene Dunn, Mya Michelle Dunn, Nia Danielle Isabella Stinson, Kingston Michael Dillard, Airianna Elaine Robinson, Jaylen Jamal Robinson; grandmother, Mother Isabella Stinson; granddaughter, Harmony, granddaughter on the way, Heaven; her siblings, Latosha Stinson, LaToniua Stinson Riaz and John Stinson; nephews and nieces, Daija Henderson, Elizabeth Stinson, Darius Stinson, SinCere Stinson and Izayah Blessed Stinson; aunt, Treska Stinson- Jenkins; first cousin, Krystle Stinson, second cousins, Arielle Brown and Breeon Price, Jr., a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, 11:00am at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am at the chapel. Services conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons. Condolences may be shared on our website.
