Mr. Jauvvion L. Bagsby

Reflections of Life Juavvion Leonte’ Bagsby, 29, of Independence, Missouri, was born on January 4, 1994, and departed from this earthly realm on September 29, 2023. Juauvvion was a soul radiating with humility, gratitude, and a deep respect for all creation. His unwavering faith and devotion were evident in every aspect of his life. Juavvion’s journey of faith was nurtured at Greater Pentecostal Temple as a young boy where he found solace, guidance, and a profound connection to The Lord Jesus Christ. He recently attended Greater Faith Community Church where Pastor Darryl Moore and Minister Vincent Rolls guided him to a reconnection with is faith. Throughout his life, Juavvion exemplified the virtues of love, compassion, and kindness. His infectious joy and outgoing nature touched the lives of countless individuals, particularly his beloved family and close friends. He cherished every moment spent with them, recognizing the immense blessings they brought into his life. In his educational pursuits, Jauvvion attended Wyandotte High School where he embraced knowledge and cultivated a thirst for wisdom. He later embarked on a career as a Warehouse forklift operator and a Dump Truck Driver with his Class B CDL. He drove the dump truck for his dad’s company, Bagsby-Blakey Trucking, hauling asphalt and millings to various sites throughout the city, paving streets, and highways. Prior to his passing, Jauvvion was working for Heritage Environmental Services where he excelled and was well liked by his employer and co-workers. Through his diligent work, Juavvion brought dignity and purpose to his daily endeavors, recognizing the inherent value in honest labor. Beyond his professional pursuits, Juavvion found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He reveled in the tranquility of fishing trips, the serenity of camping adventures and the thrill of playing basketball and football. He loved his New England Patriots but had a hard time convincing the family they were as good as the Chiefs and eventually he became a true Chiefs fan. His sons, brothers, and grandpa John were his constant companions in these moments, and together they formed memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. Juavvion’s memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife Kierra Bagsby and his three sons Jamairius Lee, Javarion Leonte’, and Jiraiya La’roy, his father, Jeffery L Bagsby (Janette), his mother, Allison Stiles, brothers Jeffery L Bagsby II, Justin L Bagsby, Jordan L Bagsby, Kobe J Bagsby, and Jyzzaiyah Bagsby, sisters, Tiffany R Colon (Wilfredo), Kennedy J Bagsby, Ahmijjah Stiles, Ahniyah Stiles, paternal grandmother, Rosa Lee Bagsby, maternal grandmother Sheryl Stiles, his uncles, Guyden L Bagsby (Jeanetta) Paul C Bagsby, aunts, Gloria D Bagsby, Angela D Jones (Keith), Cindy Fulk, cousins, Guyden L Bagsby II, Taylor P Bagsby, Isaiah Bagsby, Keith Jones II, Whitney Jackson (Ryan), Cortney Jones, Aaron Jones, Kyndl Bagsby, Kameron Bagsby, Tehyah Moore, Stormy Stiles, grandparents’ in-laws John and Jane Hernandez, mother in-law, Sarah Flintrop, father in-law Andre Turner, brother in-Law Deondre Turner, and a host of loving family members and friends. Together they formed a bond of love and unity that transcends the boundaries of time and space. Jauvvion was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Guyden E Bagsby, and great grandmother, Bernice Harris who now rest in eternal peace. As we gather to bid farewell to Juavvion Leonte’ Bagsby, let us hold on to the lessons he taught us – to embrace humility, gratitude, and respect for all creation. May his gentle spirit continue to inspire us to live a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering faith. Though he may have departed from our physical presence and now rests in the arms of Jesus, his legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, 11 am at Greater Pentecostal Temple. Visitation will be from 9am-11am at the church. Private Disposition. Service conducted by Lawrence A.
